The following press release has been issued by Hiawassee Police Department. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
October was another busy month for the Hiawassee Police Department. Seven more suspects were arrested for felony drug charges in a continued drug interdiction effort in Hiawassee. The drugs were located as a result of traffic stops and during the execution of an arrest warrant.
